The second-generation SORD Non-Releasable Armour Carrier (NRAC) is our modular full coverage armour carrier, engineered for optimal performance on operations. Designed to seamlessly integrate with both soft armour and ballistic plates of all sizes, the NRAC features a secure overlap at the waist, enhancing the wearer’s protection without sacrificing comfort or mobility.

Building on the success of the first generation, we've enhanced this proven platform with a comprehensive aesthetic and functional overhaul with minimal changes to ergonomics and usage. The NRAC has been trusted by military, police, and first responders worldwide, and with this modularity update it will continue to be relevant for operations into the future. 

The second-generation NRAC is now fully compatible with the SORD Scalable Armour Suite (sold separately) with the addition of mounting points for the shoulders,neck and groin soft armour as well as side hard armour pockets. The NRAC V2 includes an upgraded and redesigned universal internal plate pocket, ensuring maximum compatibility with armour solutions of all sizes and thickness. 

The NRAC V2 has been tailored to provide the largest molle real estate and protection possible and provides the durability and versatility needed for operational success in the most demanding environments.

Features:

​Side Plate Capable: A separate sleeve allows the user to insert side plates.

Adjustable Sizes: The NRAC V2 is available in size S to 2XL.

Breathable: Mesh material has been used as the backing face to allow water and sweat to drain away from the inside of the rig efficiently.

Weight Distribution Friendly: The cummerbund has been strengthened with the addition of a fold-over Velcro sandwich on either side that transfers weight on a vertical axis as opposed to the older standard Velcro wrap that peels off underweight.

Rear Casualty Handle: A large carriage / casualty evacuation drag handle has been incorporated into the rear panel. Constructed of heavily reinforced nylon webbing it will not tear or break free under stress.
